STANDARD rectangular jigsaw puzzles are registered as Compoz-A-Puzzle® jigsaw puzzles. They are blank, sturdy, lie flat, quality puzzles. They come assembled together, not in pieces, and do not seperate while being worked on. They are so easy to create, even a teacher can do them (the term Caveman was taken.). Actually, they are great for all ages. You can hand draw them with felt tipped markers, paint pens, crayons, or water colors. They can be rubber stamped, stenciled, airbrushed, or screen painted. They are an excellent medium for teaching arithmatic, fractions, sequencing, sentence structure, parts of speach, and other language skills. They are also great for mailart, party invitations, favors, place settings, nametags, thank you notes, and greeting cards. The puzzles come in two difficulties: larger pieces for younger children and smaller pieces for those eight years and older. They could be considered as sophisticated variations of blank pieces of paper ready for creation. Anything goes. The successful artistic creations are limited only by ones imagination and ability. In additon to being produced in two puzzle piece sizes, they are made in a varity of puzzle sizes: 4.0" X 4.5", 4.0" X 5.5", 5.5" X 8.0", 8.5" X 11.0", 10.25" X 13.25", and 22.0" X 28.0".
